Security Translation Wizard Overview

Run the Service Translation Wizard to change SIDs on ACLs and SACLs on migrated objects.

Note

• Security translation does happen while running the Computer Migration Wizard, but only for accounts and objects that belong to the same domain as the migrated computer. Run the Security Translation Wizard to change ACLs of accounts and objects that do not belong to the migrated computer's domain.
